Jack Out At B&B!

We have just learned that Jack Wagner’s option on his two year contract has not been picked up with The Bold and the Beautiful. We do not know if he will be leaving the show or staying on recurring basis, but with his lack of storyline in recent years, we highly doubt we will be seeing much more of Nick Marone. With Leslie-Anne Down's contract also not renewed and Brandon Beemer’s move to recurring, it looks like the ship has sailed on the Morone clan.

The timing could not be more perfect for Jack as pilot season is about to get into full swing in Hollywood. Also, "General Hospital" recently installed a new Executive Producer and a new Head Writer who seem to be bringing back many of the favorites from the past including Tristan Rogers, Finola Hughes and Rick Springfield. Head Writer Ron Carlivati is a longtime fan of GH. He has proven with his tenure at One Life to Live that he knows how to write for veteran characters. Could it be time for Frisco Jones to come home to Port Charles as the show fights for its life?

Get the letters and e-mails going. Let everyone know you want to see Jack Wagner back at GH!

September 21, 2010 - LLS DONATION PAGE FOR JACK'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Sorry this is late, but we now have everything in order for our very own Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donation Page in honor of Jack's Birthday and the Light the Night Walk.

As you all know, Jack is supporting the Light the Night Walk in LA on October 2nd and B&B is promoting this event on it's homepage. (See the special message from Jack below.) LLS has been gracious enough to provide Wagner World our own page to track our donations. Several of you have commented in the past that we have been unable to provide tax exemptions for donations. The link we are providing below is directly connected to the LLS L.A. Chapter and anyone who sends a donation will receive a pledge receipt in an e-mail with a Tax ID number attached, and that donation will be credited to Wagner World's members.

All donations given through this link must be made through credit card (only LLS will see the information and it is a secure site). Hopefully, this process will be much more convenient for everyone than what we have done in the past.

We will keep the link active through Jack's birthday. Our goal this year is $1,000.00. I KNOW we can achieve that!

So, without further ado, our very own Wagner World Donation Site!!! -

PLEASE NOTE: At Jack's request, in order to keep all donations together at one site, Wagner World has joined with the Bold & The Beautiful's main site as a team. Thank you to Breeana Garrett at LLS for all of her hard work in creating our site for us!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JACK!!!

A Special Message From Jack Wagner

As some of you may know, I lost my father in 1990 to multiple myeloma and in 1999 my brother Dennis was diagnosed with leukemia. He has relapsed four separate times, enduring many rounds of chemotherapy and the challenges that come along with recovery. In 2007, Dennis received a complete bone marrow transplant and is still fighting a daily battle against complications associated with the procedure.

Despite several hospitalizations over the past year, Dennis remains positive and grateful for the support of his family. He also remains committed to the important work that’s being done by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to find a cure for all blood cancers. That’s why I got involved and started the Jack Wagner Celebrity Golf Classic benefitting LLS. There is so much left to do.

On Saturday, October 2nd, LLS will be holding its annual Light the Night Walk in Griffith Park. That night more than 2,500 survivors and their loved ones will gather to offer help and hope to the millions of people like Dennis who are living with blood cancer and to pay tribute to the many that have lost their battle with this terrible disease. I will be there to show my support.

Dennis is still with us today because of new lifesaving treatments that have been funded by LLS through events like Light the Night. Click the link below to find out more about LLS, Light the Night, and how you can walk, or donate to help us on our mission to find a cure.

Happy 50th Jack!
We here at Wagner World would like to send out a very special Birthday Greeting to the man himself, today Jack Wagner celebrates his 50th birthday! I find it hard to believe that the young heart throb that was Frisco Jones has been around for half a century! If this doesn't prove that you get better with age, nothing does.

Gretchen and Mickey have once again out done themself with their annual Jack Wagner, Birthday Fund Raiser with all procedes going tothe Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Los Angeles branch. Final details on their efforts will soon follow! But I would like to thank everyone for their efforts!

"Dennis is still with us today because of new lifesaving treatments, but we must push forward for a cure." Jack, lls.com, 2007
